Retreat and Transition to Set
Drill works on blocker retreating and then moving to the dug ball to set up the attack.
How to run it
- 1
The coach or athlete initiates a spike as the blocker drops off the net. The coach or an athlete then drives the ball to the athlete in the defensive position. The blocker that has just retreated then sets up their partner for the attack. Alternatively the ball can be hit at the retreating blocker with the athlete on defense coming in to set up the attack.
