Attacker Go, Coach Throw
Train the attacker's read on the setter — go on the setter's hand release, not on the ball flight.
How to run it
- 1
Coach signals 'go,' then throws the ball as a set. Attacker must initiate the approach on the call (simulating reading the setter's hands), then adjust to the throw. 8–10 reps per athlete.
- 2
Coach emphasis: Commit to the approach early. Adjust the last 2 steps to the ball.
Why we run it
Train the attacker's read on the setter — go on the setter's hand release, not on the ball flight.
