6 Ball Block Defense
Train the blocker-to-defender transition through a fixed 6-ball sequence covering every common attack scenario.
How to run it
- 1
Run 6 balls in order: (1) hard ball down the line into the blocker's hands. (2) challenging but playable cut shot OR high line. (3) the shot the coach DIDN'T hit on ball 2. (4) ball at the defender — must be sent over with 2 touches (pretend the blocker touched the attack). (5) short ball just over the blocker — 2 touches. (6) blocker peels off the net, coach hits at him.
- 2
Coach emphasis: Each ball trains a specific block-defense scenario. Don't skip the sequence.
