Passing Groups

Game-like serve receive reps with a clear target — passer to setter to feeder.

How to run it

  1. 1

P1 throws (or serves) 10 balls to P2, who passes to P3 in front of the target. P3 catches and feeds P1 (or passes to P4 who feeds). Use 2–3 balls in rotation. 10 reps then rotate. At base level: 30 seconds for 10 passes. Higher levels: under 20 seconds. Progression 1: serving instead of throwing. Progression 2: server moves back to 3/4 court, then full, then jump serve. Progression 3: focus on float vs topspin.

  2. 2

Coach emphasis: Tempo matters. Move the ball quickly between every rep.
