Queen of the Beach
Competitive close-out — apply the day's skills under pressure.
How to run it
- 1
2v2 short rallies on a single court. Winning pair stays on the queen side; losing pair rotates out, next pair rotates in. Coach initiates every rally with a controlled toss over the net (no serving yet) — rally is live after the toss. 1 pt per rally won. Pair with the most points after 15 min wins.
- 2
Coach emphasis: Beginners use a 2-bounce rule (catch on second contact allowed). Advanced play live, no bounce. If numbers allow, split into a beginner queen court and an advanced queen court. Coach Emphasis: talk first, platform second — every rally starts with a call.
