Over-Net Downball Shuffle Passing

Train passing through over-net downball shuffle passing with a clear rep structure and game-like feedback.

How to run it

  1. 1

Same as Drill 3 but ball comes from the other side of the net via toss / down ball. Tosser tries to make the passer move in all directions. Each player does 1 round of 10 as a left-side passer and 1 round as a right-side passer.

  2. 2

Coach emphasis: Build the platform early, hold the angle, and finish every touch to a playable target.

Why we run it

Train passing through over-net downball shuffle passing with a clear rep structure and game-like feedback.

Many of our drills are adapted from the coaching resources at Better at Beach and the FIVB.
